The Yarnover “Yarn Truck”0May 31st, 2013Pop Culture Knitting
How cool is this? In your area, you may have seen food trucks. We have various areas in my town that host a variety of them weekly, usually in parking lots. I’ve always been drawn in by the cupcake trucks (of course! Who wouldn’t be?), but here’s a neat idea … A YARN TRUCK.
“Debbie” is owned by Maridee Nelson and Barbra Pushies of Burbank, CA. These creative ladies met in a knitting class and last year did some fundraising and a mobile yarn store was born! In addition to selling yarn and other knitting items, they also do private parties for up to 12 people for both knitting and crochet. They also have a Yarn Party in which the host or hostess receives a discount (15 people minimum).
Is this the start of a mobile yarn trend? I sure hope so!
You can visit their site and get more info on Debbie and her goods – and maybe even book a party! – at their website, YarnOverTruck.com.Tags: crochet party, food truck, knitting party, mobile, yarn truck, yarnover truck
