Students Give Back Locally Through Knitting Club

I have two teenaged daughters (no, I didn’t birth them when I was in elementary school, promise) and my eldest went to a similar school to this one. It’s a school that helps students who are overaged/behind on credits catch up. This article spotlights a teen mom who seems to be round-loom knitting a toddler hat for charity.

She’s made 50-60 hats and donated them all to local charities – all while going to school and being a teenaged mom. I’m very impressed! How wonderful that this is actually a school club for high-schoolers? Warms the cockles.  🙂
