“Knitting a good pattern is fun. Like reading a good book. Sometimes it’s more fun than watching TV.” – Lily Cunningham, knitter, age 11.

I have two teenaged daughters. Neither of them knit, which is a little depressing for me. On the plus side, I don’t have to buy more yarn or have them stealing my needles for THEIR projects. On the negative side, they’re not Lily Cunningham. Sigh.

The Montclair Patch has the rest of the article on this little inspiration. I wonder if we’ll see some knitting books by Lily in the future?
