Interview with Holla Knits

Have you been over to Holla Knits before? If you haven’t, I highly recommend it. It’s a cool site and publication by Allyson Dykhuizen with hip patterns and inspiration. Sarah E. White of about.com’s knitting channel did a great interview with Allyson – check it out after the jump!

I heard about the new knitting publication Holla Knits last month and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to share it with you! This fun little electronic publication will be coming out with garment collections twice a year and an accessories collection once a year. The first issue features six patterns for tops, a vest and a romper (which I’m frankly still skeptical about, but it is cute) all for women.

I got the chance to talk to Holla Knits’ mastermind, Allyson Dykhuizen, recently about the publication, its inspiration and our common love of Pinterest. She’s also the knitwear designer and teacher behind The Sweatshop of Love, which is also worth checking out if you haven’t seen it already.
