I’m still reeling from the horrific events yesterday in Orlando (I’ve been a resident of The City Beautiful since the late ’90s), but am heartened at knowing so many people locally and around the world (JK Rowling and Adele, especially!) are embracing my community with love and prayers and hope. Thank you. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims‘ loved ones and families, and also with the first responders who witnessed the tragedy firsthand. What they saw cannot be unseen. Love to all.
SO, on a brighter note, let’s talk giveaways! CraftGossip has a fantastic book that they’re passing along to a lucky winner:
“The book Knitting Know-How: Techniques, Lessons and Projects for Every Knitter’s Library by Dorothy T. Ratigan and Judith Durant is a good reference for knitters of a variety of skill levels. It’s a big book, but at 270 pages it isn’t so big that it’s overwhelming. It also includes a lot of large pictures, which make it easy to see what’s going on in tutorials and swatches.”
To enter to win this visually helpful book, go to CraftGossip’s post and leave a comment by the end of the day Sunday, June 19.
