Well, do you have a case yet?

Joanna from the Austin Knitting Examiner posted about knitting your own iPhone 4 cosy. Curious about the actual dimensions, I did some research on the differences in size. There’s not much to speak of:
3g dimensions: 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm
4g dimensions: 114.3 x 58.7 x 9.4 mm
Perhaps 3 mm smaller? Not enough to sneeze at, really. Unless you’re knitting an iPad cosy, you should be able to use any of the 3g patterns to cover your new iPhone 4. Here are a few:
Sarah E. White’s cabled cover at About.com
Bittersweet Blog’s Pop Tart cover
Cotton and Cloud’s iPhone cover
There are tons more out there, so dive into your stash and save some $ on a cover and knit your own.
